HWID Changer is an application that changes your Hardware ID (HWID) and Serial Number (SN) of your computer. This allows you to play games without being detected by VAC and the loss of CD keys. If Steam has removed any of your CD keys from your account, this can allow you to continue playing other games on Steam after an account ban. This tool is only compatible with Windows based computers running Microsoft Windows Vista or newer. It will not work on other operating systems such as Linux, FreeBSD, or OS X 10. Current version: v1.4 HWID Changer works by changing the Hardware ID (HWID) and Serial Number (SN) of the computer, thereby generating a new unique ID for your computer. The program can change both the HWID and SN at the same time, or just the SN if you wish to do so. It can also backup your original HWID and SN to a file so that if you wish to undo your changes, you can do so by restoring these original values. HWIDs are not static - they change whenever you update your graphics card drivers so it is best to run this after every driver update from ATI or NVIDIA as well as from Intel's site. First download the latest version of HWID Changer from http://hwidchanger.com/downloads.html. Start HWID Changer up and click the Module Manager tab at the top of the main window. This will open up a new window with each module in its own separate box, which you can use to select which modules you wish to execute. After you have checked off all the modules that you want, click on "Install" at the bottom right hand side of this last window and then select "OK" on all windows that appear. This will start the installation process and could take a few minutes. Select the Games tab at the top of the main window to open up a list of games that you want to change your HWID and SN for. Double click on each game that you want to modify and select all of the options for this game. Once you have all your games selected, click on "Modify" at the bottom right hand side of this last window and then select "OK" on all windows that appear. This will start modifying your hardware ID for each game that you have selected, which can take several minutes depending on how many games are being modified. Once the modifications have been made, click on "Backup" at the bottom right hand side of this window and then select "OK" on all windows that appear. This will back up the HWID and SN values for each game, so if you ever wish to restore your original HWID and SN for these games, you can do so by using the Restore function from within HWID Changer. HWID Changer also supports playing many games on Steam without VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) bans as well as playing banned games on your friends account that you do not own. cfa1e77820
